Energy as a balance for resilience
At the moment, there is a test setup in a cucumber cultivation with our Greenline Food vegetable mats at Botany. We find it important to test our substrate extensively in different situations, and thus expand our knowledge, learn from the findings and optimize and improve our substrate based on these experiences. With this knowledge, we can also serve our customers even better and assist them in achieving their (growth) objectives.

In order to be able to (continue to) guarantee the right quality, our products are regularly tested and inspected. We do this with and for our customers.

In addition to the collaboration with renowned companies such as Botany, we also have our own R&D department. They are very closely involved in all practical tests that are located at both customers and our partners.

Of course it is very nice to see that our Greenline Food substrate is doing super well; not only with our customers in vegetable cultivation, but also in various test environments, where it is subject to various conditions.

The Sales and R&D departments recently visited Botany to view the current test setup in cucumber cultivation with our organic Greenline Food.

This trial is called “Energy as a balance for resilience” and is financed by Hagelunie, Interpolis Glashelder, Kennis in je kas and the program Kas Als Energiebron. This is the innovation and action program of Glastuinbouw Nederland and the Ministry of LVVN.

The cucumber crop cooperative, Mertens, Wireless Value, Ridder, Eurofins, Grodan, Enza Zaden, Koppert, Gardin, Yookr, Lumiforte, Lensli and ProJoules are also contributing to this project.

We look forward to the next update!
