ACB Agri BV

From our own tests we have seen that we have a more vital and stronger crop on Greenline Food. We have been growing on this organic substrate for 2 full years now and the disposal is done in a responsible manner.”

Vegetable grower ACB Agro BV from Drenthe is run by Antoni de Bruin, who is responsible for both cultivation and personnel. The company, which has a total size of 6 hectares, consists of two locations in Klazienaveen and grows both bell peppers and cucumbers. In total there are 10 permanent employees and 10 seasonal employees.

ACB Agro is an active member of Oxin Growers, one of the largest growers' cooperatives in the Netherlands and stands for growing with an eye for people and nature. ACB Agro's goal is to use maximum organic input in order to ultimately grow the best possible product. ACB Agro considers it important to cultivate with the right responsibility towards its employees. They work with a permanent team of people, which makes it easier to guarantee the level and quality. In addition to the use of biological resources, they are also responsible in other areas. For example, they have a CHP installation at the nursery, from which they feed the power back to the grid and use the generated heat to heat the greenhouse. In addition to being a grower, Antoni is also a cultivation advisor at a number of vegetable companies and shares his knowledge about both cultivation and responsible cultivation as much as possible.

'I hope that people become aware that we produce vegetables in an efficient manner in the Netherlands.''

ACB Agro is already using the Greenline Food for the third year in a row. During testing they saw that the crop on Greenline Food is stronger and more vital. That is why it has been decided to place 2023 hectares in the greenhouse at Greenline Food this year (1,5). ACB Agro has since seen stronger vegetative growth and heavy crops again.

ACB Agro is satisfied with the Greenline Food and is working hard together with Lensli to continue to develop the product. It takes some time to put the mats down, but the advantage is that the Greenline Food mats do not need to be dripped and that the drainage is already there.
